Most of my life I have had a deep desire to write. As a teenager, I wrote a religious column for our small town newspaper. Later, during my early married years, when my children were young, I wrote articles for our state church newsletter. After living abroad with my husband and children, and after returning to our home in northern Virginia, God began stirring in my heart a desire to write an account of my life, to show what great things God had done in the lives of my family and friends. “Throw Me A Rope” was published in 2005. Now, after my husband’s final retirement from the Foreign Service, and our move to Georgia, I have again felt a stirring to begin writing, to uphold the teachings of God’s Word as it applies to today’s events in our nation and world. My biggest challenge has been the technical aspects of getting started with a blog, but, here it is!
